[Nokia N96] Recording TV Programs in Live TV

 

 

As you know Nokia banished from the options in the Live TV application the option to record programs. Recently I became interested in this, and I decided to take care of it because we, the 30,033 software users do not have this option and return to an older version is not profitable.
Well, as you can see are the results of my work. Access to what and how to properly edit it took me two days. First, read the text file responsible for the configuration of the application and the next day wyedytowałem it to the list of options appeared to record the program.
Now you can record TV programs as well as radio shows (if they are transmitted through a fixed place of DVB-H)
What to do to get this option?
Please copy the text file with the Annex to the folder C:\private\10202be9 and restart the phone
The recording will be extending rtp and will appear in Images and Video Center\Recorded TV
I do not recommend to edit this file to people who are not familiar with this so as not to block the receipt of a complete DVB-H. Unfortunately, it only helps you hard reset the phone

Install jar files (games) in samsung corby

samsung corby series has got a serious privacy problem that it doesnt support direct java apps/games
but it doesnt mean that your corby isnt capable of running java midlets

so today,I would show you how to run these java midlets

1. in your PC, open a new notepad file. (anyname.txt)
2. write

3. save it and close the file. change file extension to .html
4. transfer this file to ur Corby along with the Jar & Jad files of yourr application
6. open this file to run the application and click the link displayed
7. enjoy your application

This tutorial will guide you to:

- Preserve registered registry of your LCG apps.
- Restore those registries after hard flash.

So, after doing a hard flash, you don’t have to register X-plore, LCG Jukebox and SmartMovie again using Sorcerer.

Part-1: Backup registry files
================================================== =============

All you need:

Registered version of X-plore, LCG Jukebox and SmartMovie.

Steps:

[1]
Open X-plore. Go to ‘C:\System\’ directory. Rename the ‘Data’ folder to ‘Data_full’ then close X-plore.

[2]
Open LCG Jukebox and SmartMovie.(No need to open, if you don’t want to take backup)
Close LCG Jukebox and SmartMovie.

[3]
Open LCG Jukebox and SmartMovie.(No need to open, if you don’t want to take backup)
Close LCG Jukebox and SmartMovie.

[4]
Open X-plore, go to ‘C:\System\’ and rename the ‘Data’ folder to ‘Data_LCG’.
Rename the ‘Data_full’ folder to ‘Data’.

[5]
Now open ‘Data_LCG’ folder. If you get 6 files at there, then everything is OK.
Here 2 files for X-plore, 2 for LCG Jukebox and 2 for SmartMovie.
Suppose you don’t use LCG Jukebox but use X-plore and SmartMovie. So, in this case you should get 2+2=4 files.

Cut ‘Data_LCG’ folder from there and keep it in your PC or in SD-Card.

Steps:

[1]
Install the same version of X-plore, LCG Jukebox and SmartMovie, what you were using during taking backup.
Don’t open LCG Jukebox or SmartMovie now.

[2]
Open X-plore. Copy all files of ‘Data_LCG’ folder, then paste in ‘C:\System\Data’ directory.
Don’t close X-plore.

[3]
Install ContactsTemplates then open it. You will see some hexadecimal numbers at there, delete all of those numbers.
Uninstall ContactsTemplates.

Now turn back to X-plore and exit it.

Open X-plore. You’ll get it as registered.
Open SmartMovie. You’ll get it as registered.
Open LCG Jukebox. You’ll get it as registered.

This is for only for people with experience in overclock.It’s same as on computer,when you overclock your mobile phone too much,it will become very hot and unstable.It can also be damaged.So overclock little and your phone will be safe and faster a lot!By default nokia s60v3 phones are very cold and can be overclocked very good.I overclock both of my phones n73 and n95 and they are pretty much faster.I noticed that in menu,gallery,games… But you must be very careful if you set very high number,your mobile processor can be ,if you know what I mean.Who don’t know much about overclock do not do this.So for everyone who know what I was talking and understand overclock do this:

First step : Enter ‘private’ folder in C:\ on your phone.

2nd step : Click Capoff then use X-plore only,because it is only file manager that can open file that I will mention below.Other can’t due to security issue.

3rd step : C:\private\10202be9\20001079.txt, cursor it and click 8 to edit it.

4th step : Find the line that shown at the attached pic, change the 332, to any higher number then click menu and save it.I trying 500, which is a lot and I hope nobody will put anything over this mark.You may try yourself to find the best safe and fast solution for your s60v3 device,but please backup the 20001079.txt first*Somebody will get higher clock than someone else on same model of phone,but don’t worry,because not everyone’s chip is the same.
